Strictly blunder as fans spot major change to the live show’s intro with Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly

STRICTLY fans were left confused tonight as they spotted a major error to the show’s intro.

BBC viewers tuned in for the second live episode, but instantly noticed that show hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly were bizarrely not introduced, in what looked like a blunder.

Each week the presenters are usually introduced to the show.

Eagle-eyed fans at home were quick to point it out that it appeared as if the titles ran over and the timings didn’t work.

The judges were then quickly introduced but they didn’t get back to their seats in time, with Shirley Ballas sitting in Anton Du Beke‘s seat and visa versa.

One viewer wrote: “So Tess and Claudia don’t get introduced anymore.”

A second noted: “Okay…..no intros for Tess and Claudia. #Strictly”

A third said: “What, no introduction for Tess and Claudia by Alan Dedicoat??!!”

The couples returned tonight for their second live dances and this weekend one pair will be leaving.

Last week Katya Jones was overheard apologising to her celebrity dance partner Lewis Cope moments after their epic Strictly debut.

The pro whispered “sorry” as the pair walked up the stairs to Claudia Winkleman‘s area to hear the judges’ scores.

The comment, which was picked up on the mic, left viewers baffled – especially as they ended up finishing in second place on the leaderboard.

Now The Sun can reveal Katya was apologising over a mistake in the routine – because it was HER fault.

Judge Motsi Mabuse told the couple: “We need to clean it up. At the very end there was a tiny mistake, I saw that, but we are starting at levels. Hello Strictly 2025.”

Katya grimaced as Motsi pointed out the error.

An insider told The Sun: “Katya wanted to quickly own up to being the one who had caused the error that was picked up on by the judges.

“She was totally was kicking herself over the mistake and wanted to say sorry straight away, but didn’t expect it to be overheard by viewers.”

Lewis told Katya “it’s fine” as he waved to the crowd on Saturday night’s show.

The pair were beat only by former professional footballer Karen Carney.

He headed for an early gym session on Saturday morning ahead of the second live show.

Lewis told fans: “I’m full of tan, I’m full of beans, let’s have a good day.”
