Strictly’s Wynne Evans in bitter fallout with Katya Jones as he launches fresh attack on show

FORMER Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans appears to have taken aim at Katya Jones in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The Go Compare advert singer, 53, launched into a bitter rant on his social media last night, before removing the upload this morning.

He was partnered with pro dancer Katya during last year’s Strictly before he was axed for saying a sex slur backstage.

Fans have noticed that the Russian choreographer, 36, hasn’t been engaging with Wynne’s posts recently – even when he tags her.

Posing for a disgruntled-looking selfie at around midnight last night, Wynne appeared to take aim at his ‘connections’ on the BBC dancefloor.

“Here’s what I learnt from Strictly,” he captioned the post. “If you think you’ve built a real connection, you haven’t.

“You’ve paid for their time – and once the cameras stop, so does the care.

“But here, it’s real. The people who listen, message, and laugh with me – you – are genuine. This isn’t showbiz, it’s community.”

He concluded the caption saying: “And I’ll always choose that.”

Wynne added the hashtags “no pretence” and “real connection”, leaving the post up till this morning when it was suddenly deleted.

Before it was pulled, fans had already raised concerns and asked him if he was taking a less-than-subtle swipe at Katya.

One asked: “Does your dance partner never get in touch anymore? If not that is so so sad.”

While someone else said: “The way you were treated was absolutely disgusting. Your dance partner should have shouted from the rooftops in support of you.

“You deserve better.”

A third commented: “Don’t need your showbiz pals . Genuine people are normal Joe bloggs.. and we will say it how it is..x”

The Sun has contacted Wynne’s representatives for a comment.

It comes after he recently opened up about his sensational axe from showbusiness for using the term “spit roast” as a nickname for Jamie Borthwick.

Appearing on Nick Ferrari’s LBC show last month, Wynne said: “I said the word so I should have accountability for that, and I wasn’t ready for that level of scrutiny, and I shouldn’t have done it. And that’s it.

“I wouldn’t blame anybody other than myself.

“I totally take that as my responsibility and something that I shouldn’t have done, and I will regret that for the rest of my life.

“At 53 you know, to lose all your singing work, to lose all your television work, to lose your radio show, it’s not an easy thing to have happen to you, but it was my fault.”

Wynne only found out he’d been fired after reading it in The Sun – and days later discovered his BBC pass was deactivated without warning.
