Gauteng will enjoy pleasant weather on 15 September, with sunny skies and mild temperatures expected across most parts of the province.
According to forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela, Johannesburg will reach a high of 25°C, while Pretoria can expect a warmer 27°C.
“Residents in Gauteng should prepare for fine conditions, with no strong winds expected across the province,” Thobela said.
Eastern regions of Gauteng may see light rain
While Gauteng will remain mostly sunny and dry, the eastern parts of the province may experience slight rainfall. These showers are not expected to be widespread or severe. Thobela explained that conditions would remain mostly stable but advised communities in the Far East to stay alert for light and scattered rain later in the evening.
“Showers could develop over the eastern regions of Gauteng, though they will be brief and isolated,” Thobela added.
Cold front’s indirect influence
A cold front moving across southwestern South Africa will not directly affect Gauteng but may influence weather patterns in the coming days. Thobela emphasised that the system could bring cooler mornings as the week progresses, though daytime temperatures remain comfortable.
“As the cold front progresses, Gauteng may experience slightly cooler mornings, but overall, the province will remain stable,” he said.
