LIVERPOOL have been tipped as the odds on favourite to go on and lift the Carabao Cup.
The Reds were drawn against Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the competition in Wednesday evening’s draw.

Betting site PaddyPower have put Arne Slot‘s defending Premier League champions as 7/2 odds to lift the trophy again.
That has put them ahead of Manchester City, who are looking to reclaim Pep Guardiola‘s favourite cup competition.
City were drawn away at Swansea in the fourth round, though the Welsh side are down on their odds with the bookies at 50/1 to win the tournament compared to the Prem side’s 9/2.
Meanwhile, Arsenal – eyeing their first piece of silverware since 2020 – have also been backed by the bookies to make it far into the competition, at odds of 13/2 to win the whole thing.
They were drawn to face Brighton at the Emirates, but at 10/1 the Seagulls are not heavily favoured.
The other north London club in action, Tottenham, make up one half of the juiciest tie of the round with their trip to fellow Champions League outfit Newcastle.

Toon have odds of 7/1 against Tottenham’s 9/1 to win the whole thing, meaning they are narrow favourites for the fourth round tie.
Another juicy clash will see an all-Wales affair between Wrexham and Cardiff.
At 40/1 the bookies are backing the Hollywood club to beat the established giant of football in Wales by double, with the Bluebirds’ odds ranked down at 80/1.
Giant killers Grimsby – having already slayed Manchester United in round two and Sheffield Wednesday in round three – are the longest shot out of the remaining teams to win the competition.
PaddyPower has them down at 150/1, whereas Brentford are much shorter odds at 14/1, meaning the bookies expect Goliath to finally triumph over David.
Chelsea are fourth favourites for the whole competition at 13/2, against the Premier League bottom side Wolves who have 16/1 odds.
Finally, Wycombe Wanderers will be hosting Fulham.
Wanderers are long odds at 125/1, and would be a huge upset to beat the Cottagers at 14/1.
