Taylor Swift has surprised fans once again by putting new vinyl variants of her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl.
They are up for sale after the first limited editions sold out almost immediately. Last week, Swift’s webstore offered two exclusive vinyl editions that vanished within an hour.
TAYLOR SWIFT’S ALBUM COVERS
Now, she has launched another set of variants featuring a fresh third cover called the Baby, That’s Show Business Edition.
This new edition sticks to the striking Vegas showgirl theme, featuring a photo shoot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. These two are known for their bold and glamorous imagery, according to Variety.
Fans can choose between two distinct vinyl colours: “lovely bouquet golden vinyl” and “lakeside beach blue sparkle vinyl.”
The blue vinyl sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale at 9pm South African time last Thursday. The golden vinyl followed shortly after, clearing out just past the hour mark.
Each vinyl costs about R650, reflecting demand for these collector’s items.Taylor Swift’s webstore only offers these editions for 48 hours or while stocks last.
DELUXE CD VARIANTS
This release follows three deluxe CD variants of the album that also sold rapidly but lasted longer than an hour on the webstore.
Those in South Africa eager to add these special editions to their collection should keep a close watch on Swift’s store.
According to the pattern, new variations usually appear with a three-hour countdown ahead of release.
All editions carry the thematic showgirl motif. They link back to Taylor Swift’s narrative about navigating the tension between show business and her personal life during the Eras Tour.

Notably, unlike past albums where bonus tracks featured on deluxe editions. Taylor Swift recently emphasised that this time the differences lie only in the packaging.
