Tensions rise in Olivia Attwood’s camp as management clash over wild partying and tell her career is ‘hanging by thread’

POSING in a lace bra with her tongue sticking out, Olivia Attwood couldn’t have looked further away from a wholesome This Morning presenter if she’d tried.

It was the latest stunt from the 34-year-old who loves pushing boundaries, but we can reveal the shock image rang alarm bells amongst her team who fear her actions are becoming increasingly erratic and concerning.

The star has become known for her partying ways – and seems to have stepped it up in recent months[/caption]

Just a couple of months ago it was a very different story – Olivia had landed her dream job hosting the daytime TV show, following in the footsteps of the likes of Holly Willoughby and Cat Deeley. Her latest reality show was also about to air and she was busy filming various other projects as the new golden girl of ITV.

Channel bosses even heralded her as one of the “faces of the future” and even claimed she was “the new Cilla Black“.

But it seems a trip to Ibiza, where she was spotted getting cosy with pal Pete Wicks, ignited the star’s inner ‘club rat’ as she affectionately calls herself – and over the last few weeks Olivia has been playing just as hard as she’s been working.

An insider told us: “Olivia is incredibly hard-working and driven but she can’t resist a party. It’s part of her brand but recently it’s raised a few eyebrows.

She may not be as invincible as she thinks she is – TV bosses can be brutal

Insider on Olivia’s career

“She’s now part of a more wholesome daytime TV image and being seen cosying up to another man while married, boozing all day and night and turning up to work hungover is just not part of that look.

“Her manager has mentioned to her that she might want to reign it in.

“There is a divide in her camp of those enabling her and those who are keen to remind her that moderation is key.

“She might be at the top of her career now, but she’s hanging on by a thread and one wrong move could see it all tumbling down.”

Fans have clocked that Olivia often turns up to her Sunday radio show on Kiss FM, which she does with Pete Wicks, severely hungover and it’s become an outlet for her to boast about her boozy antics.

The insider added:  “Her behaviour has sparked concern amongst those close to her as she’s regularly talking about how tired she is, how hard she is working and then going on benders.”

A summer of chaos and relationship woes

Just last week she told listeners about a particularly wild session in Las Vegas, where she was filming the new series of Filthy Rich.

She said: “I took the team for dinner one night and I got in the next day at about midday and then went to work. I was in my hotel room, it was like 11 in the morning and I hadn’t been to sleep and I was like, I have made some choices here.

“I made some friends, went for breakfast and my producer had to come and get me.”

Her co-host Pete interjected saying she had to be ‘dragged from the table’.

It was with Pete of course that she landed herself into hot water over the summer.

The pair flew out to Ibiza to host Kiss from there and ended up mixing business with pleasure.

Images at the time raised eyebrows showing married Olivia sat between Pete’s thighs as they partied on a boat.

At the time, insiders revealed that Olivia’s husband – footballer Bradley Dack – was concerned about her behaviour.

Snaps of ex-Towie Lothario Pete with his hand on Olivia’s thigh were shared in Gillingham FC’s WhatsApp group by Bradley’s amused teammates and he was fuming he had been put in that position.

Olivia admitted he hadn’t been able to get hold of her while she was away, reflecting: “I feel like also putting your phone on do not disturb, don’t reply to anyone, it causes chaos at home.”

The aftermath could have been a lot worse, but Olivia swiftly brushed it under the carpet and threw herself back into work – and in a new move, started posting more thirst traps than ever before.

Another insider told us: “Interestingly Olivia has really started to lean into her sexy party girl image and isn’t worrying about toning things down for This Morning

“She’s been posting some pretty racy content, it’s almost like a ‘eff you’ to the critics. Everyone is joking that she’s taken inspo from the OnlyFans girls she interviews on Getting Filthy Rich.

“She may not be as invincible as she thinks she is – TV bosses can be brutal and there is really very little room for error.”

Her mum has always been the first to call her out for posting in skimpy outfits and regularly comments sharing her disapproval. Beneath one she remarked: “Too low cut and too short, recommend not be seen in public”, while on another she said her daughter needed “ a side order of modesty”.

But Olivia isn’t concerned about what people – or even her long suffering mum Jen, who she calls her troll, – feels about it.

She told Hello!: “People love to hate. They write comments under my posts saying things like, ‘She needs to grow up’ and ‘Tone down the partying’ and my mum will like them. I’m always asked how it doesn’t affect me, but I basically grew up with my troll. My skin is thick – I’m like an elephant.”

Skyrocketting career

Olivia shot to fame on Love Island in 2017 – signing up after dumping Bradley for cheating on her.

She reached the final with Chris Hughes, but reunited with her ex soon after the relationship ended.

Olivia tied the knot with Bradley in a £30,000 wedding dress in June 2023 and she later revealed how Brad had told her off for drinking too much on their special day.

Since the dating show, Olivia has slowly been chipping away at her career and now finds herself in an enviable position.

She initially began appearing on ITV reality show The Only Way is Essex.

But it has been in the last 12 months that the star’s career has skyrocketed thanks to her own reality series, Olivia Meets Her Match, which in turn sparked its own wedding spin-off capturing her nuptials to Brad.

She also began fronting her documentary, Getting Filthy Rich, which instantly landed a second series and put Olivia as a true rival to her BBC counterpart Stacey Dooley and she’s also completed a second series of her own reality show – Bad Boyfriends.

A stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle was expected to propel the star to A-list status but she was forced to quit after just 24 hours as a result of medical issues.

Nonetheless, the blonde beauty appeared as a panellist on Loose Women and then This Morning.

There’s not much that Olivia can’t do – both on and off screen even if her behaviour is proving to be divisive.

She eloquently summed it up herself, insisting: “People are so used to seeing people on telly present this vanilla false version of themselves they can’t cope when someone lives life unapologetically.

“When I’m at work I will happily credit myself as one of the most hardworking, prepared, professional people on any set. When I’m ‘off’ which is hardly ever I want to have fun, and you should all try it.”

Defending herself, she finished: “The two things are not mutually exclusive. None of us are here forever. I for one will not be forced into a box by anyone.”

From Monster grid girl and Love Island star to daytime telly panellist and respected documentary maker, Olivia Attwood has made a huge career pivot in recent years…

Olivia first started as a Monster grid girl at motorsport events in 2012 when she was 19-years-old, and did it right up until she went into Love Island in 2017.

After placing third in the reality show with then-boyfriend Chris Hughes, she starred in their own spin-off series, Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On, in 2018.

Later that year, she appeared on Celebs Go Dating and then joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2019, where she had a number of fiery on-screen rows.

In 2020, the reality TV veteran began starring in her own reality series on ITVBe titled Olivia Meets Her Match, which followed her wedding preparations with footballer Bradley Dack.

In 2021, the tide started to turn.

Olivia made appearances on household shows Lorraine, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars and Loose Women.

Then, in 2022, ITV commissioned her for her first ever documentary series.

She presented Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich, which explored women selling sexual content online.

In June 2023, ITV commissioned Olivia Marries Her Match and made her a regular guest panellist on Loose Women.
