The lunatics are on the streets again staging hate marches unleashing a tidal wave of Jew hatred – they must be curbed

EVERY synagogue in the country has security guards outside every service.

Jewish schools need private security.

And the Jewish community has to raise funds for a charity called the Community Security Trust to protect them. No other community has to do that.

Lord Ian Austin has demanded tougher action in cracking down on anti Jew hate which has erupted on Britain’s streets[/caption]

You saw why on Thursday.

A terrorist murdered and injured worshippers at a Manchester Synagogue.

This wasn’t a random attack at a shopping centre or in the street. Jewish people were attacked because they are Jews. Brutal, murderous racism.

Ever since Hamas terrorists invaded Israel two years ago, racist extremists have been allowed to take over our streets.

On October 7th, as the terrorists murdered and kidnapped civilians, people celebrated on the streets of Britain.

Weekly marches have made central London and other city centres no-go areas for Jewish people.

Even on Thursday – hours after the attack – the lunatics were at it again, fighting with the police outside Downing Street and train stations.

You’d think they’d have the decency to tone it down after Thursday’s murders, but they’re either so convinced of their moral superiority – or so consumed by racial hatred – they can’t help themselves. Both, probably.

I’ve been to watch the hate marches. You don’t see banners calling for peace, for hostages to be released or for a “two-state solution”.

You see plenty comparing Israelis to Nazis, Gaza to the Holocaust or demanding Palestine to stretch from “the River to the Sea” which would mean the destruction of Israel and the murder of its citizens.

They chant for Israel’s destruction, for “death to the IDF” and to “Globalise the Intifada”.

The intifada was terror attacks where people were attacked with cars and knives. Exactly what happened in Manchester.

Why are people who call for that not prosecuted with the same speed and determination as people who incited violence or racism after the murders in Southport?

Jewish kids have been attacked on their way to school. Students targeted at university. Jewish patients hiding their identity when going to hospital.

Synagogues smeared with faeces. Homes daubed with Swastikas. Businesses smashed up just because their owners are Jewish.

Defence companies attacked, their workers intimidated – people who keep our country safe.

The CST have logged record numbers of antisemitic incidents. A recent YouGov survey suggests more than one in five Brits now hold entrenched antisemitic views – twice the level four years ago.

As the Chief Rabbi said, it is “a tidal wave of Jew hatred”.

It should make us all ashamed that Jewish people constantly tell me they are thinking about moving to Israel and ask if they even have a future here.

They think they would be safer in Israel, a country at war, surrounded by murderous enemies.

Parliament debates Israel more than any other issue – three times more than the NHS, crime, poverty or immigration.

You should be furious MPs are so obsessed with a conflict thousands of miles away they know little about and can do even less to solve rather than the schools or hospitals they are responsible for.

Sudan, where famine has killed more than 500,000 children and thousands more have been killed in the civil war or Nigeria where Christians are being murdered, barely get a look-in.

Is it because there is a racist obsession with Jewish people or a racist lack of interest in black people? Both, I reckon.

When our government decided Israel is not committing a genocide, the BBC buried the news. When the UN said it might be, it dominated every bulletin.

The bias is so blatant but BBC bosses refuse to do anything about it.

Demonising Israel, singling it out for criticism, holding it to standards never applied to other countries – these are examples of antisemitism.

The obsession in Parliament and on the BBC spreads the lie that Israel is a uniquely evil country and that obviously causes hatred against the Jewish community.

So please don’t ask me to listen to pious lectures promising to oppose antisemitism from people who support boycotts, sanctions or embargoes that would prevent Israel from defending its Jewish citizens.

The authorities need to get a grip.

Start standing up for our values. Living in the UK must mean believing in democracy, equality, freedom and tolerance. If you don’t agree with that, go and live somewhere else.

People who hate Jews or think Israel should not be allowed to exist must be prevented from coming to Britain or staying here.

Clamp down on extremist preachers spewing hatred and sack NHS staff or university lecturers responsible for racism.

Hate marches can’t be allowed to take over our streets every week. Change the law to curb them if necessary.

As for the rest of us, ordinary decent people must show the Jewish community their solidarity and support.

Stand up to anti-Jewish racism, just as we would it if was any other minority group.
