The winter route will operate twice a week, taking around 2h30 to get there.
Flights start from £19.99 each way.
The new route will mean Leeds Airport has 13 destinations operated by Ryanair.
Leeds Bradford’s Aviation Director, Declan Maguire, said: “Ryanair’s new flights from Leeds Bradford to Warsaw isn’t just another route on the map.
“It’s a chance for people across Yorkshire to discover a city full of history and culture.
“We’re proud to team up with Ryanair to make travelling from Yorkshire easier and more exciting, whether it’s a weekend break, visiting friends and family, or an adventure further afield.”
Ryanair also operates flights to Warsaw from London Stansted, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Warsaw was often called the Paris of the East because of the beautiful architecture across the city.
Another more recent nickname was the Phoenix City, because of how it “rose again after the war” which saw a huge amount of the city bombed and destroyed.
Now, most tourists head to Warsaw Old Town which is actually relatively new, as it was rebuilt after WWII.
Otherwise there is also the Neon Museum, ideal for Instagrammers with walls full of Cold War era neon signs.
And drinkers can head to the Polish Vodka Museum to learn about 600 years of producing it in the country.
Otherwise it is a super green city, with 95 parks to explore.
Make sure to grab a traditional pierogi (filled dumplings) to go as well.
Want the best view of the city? Head to Panorama Sky Bar where you can spot the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw’s tallest building.
Warsaw is often named one of the cheapest European city breaks, coming in second in a study by the Post Office (just behind Riga).
TUI also launched city break holidays to Warsaw earlier this year.
And Warsaw is even getting a new “mega airport” that wants to take on Dubai and Heathrow – here is what you need to know.
