REALITY TV star Charlotte Crosby, 35, is such a busy woman that she can’t even break off an interview when she needs the toilet.
“If any reality star sums up a spoiled brat it’s our Char,” reveals our reporter.
“Worse still when she was all glammed up in a glitzy green party dress for our Christmas magazine cover shoot, she asked me to come to the toilet with her as she wanted to carry on talking.
“She once fell asleep mid interview with me – literally fell asleep in the bed we were sitting on!”

Justin Bieber has been surrounded with flunkeys since he was a kid, and clearly growing up in the spotlight meant he missed out on learning basic manners.
One writer was due to interview him in a Los Angeles hotel back in 2016 when Love Yourself and Sorry were both chart-topping hits and he was about to embark on his huge Purpose world tour.
“He turned up hours late to our interview then loudly announced he needed the toilet, like a two year old” she recalled.
“When I politely remarked that we would need to get started as soon as possible when he returned, Bieber snarled back, ‘If you’re so desperate to talk to me, come with me to the bathroom.”
No thanks.
BOYZONE-D OUT

MANY A-listers are charming, courteous and appreciate how privileged they are.
But Ronan Keating isn’t one of them.
“Ronan was a strange one,” revealed our reporter who interviewed him at the London offices of his record label Polydor, back in 1999 when he was in Boyzone.
“For some reason he insisted on spending the whole interview sitting sideways onto me and would not look directly at me.
“Whatever I asked he would just answer with a bored shrug and kept asking his PR how soon I was going to leave so that he could go and get something to eat.
“It was like I was invisible.”

When Coldplay won an award earlier he’d said something cryptic about the band taking a break.
Our man on the red carpet added: “When I saw him at his label’s afterparty, I took a seat and introduced myself.
“Cutting me off, he rudely snapped: ‘Don’t just assume you can sit down next to me.’
He told me I was out of line and needed to leave,”

“But then Chris grabbed my arm and said, ‘No, sit down, but don’t just assume you can sit down without asking.’
“What followed was an awkward attempt to interview him where he gave monosyllabic answers.
“Realising the chat was going nowhere, I asked about his cryptic comment and asked whether taking a break from music had anything to do with wanting to spend more time with his then spouse Gwyneth.
“I knew it was a risk as he never talked about her but his face turned to thunder and he started ranting at me for daring to ask about his high profile wife.

“Indeed, the wealth-obsessed star likes to pin copies on his office wall of the cheques he has paid to the taxman.
“In one interview he picked up his mobile and began texting, barking ‘that’s a stupid question.’
“I think it was just one he couldn’t be bothered to answer.
“You’d think after decades in business and on prime time TV, the Apprentice boss would understand the value of PR.”

CONTESTANTS on Love Island expect fans to take an interest in their romances.
But not Jack Fincham.
One of our team interviewed Jack in 2019, shortly after he and Dani Dyer split.
She explained: “Since he recently won Love Island it seemed pretty obvious to ask about his love life.
“But no matter what I asked he just said, ‘No, no’’ in response to everything.
“It was infuriating so I sent the transcript to the PR so he could see the problem – he sent back a completely rewritten transcript full of great quotes, funny chat and witty repartee that had most certainly not come from the source himself.”

INTERVIEWS over Zoom can be tricky at the best of times, but shortly before actress Isla Fisher announced her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen she refused to discuss her funnyman hubby.

“She had started off being so overly nice and complimentary.
“When I asked if the family were still living in Australia I was expecting a yes or no answer, instead she refused to say anything at all.
“I moved on but she would only give short, sharp, irritated answers for the next ten minutes.
“She also refused to answer when I asked her what is the secret to a healthy marriage.” Oops.

STUNNING Elle MacPherson might have the best body in the business but she doesn’t make interviews easy.
“Back in 2011 while working in Australia, I scored an interview with the supermodel – but the experience was anything but super,” our reporter reveals.
“It was a 15 minute chat, but because of the time difference it was 10pm by the time I finally got her on the blower.
“The call was delayed several times, with Elle ‘stuck in traffic’, but when she came on the line, there were no apologies for her tardiness – not uncommon amongst entitled celebs.
“She’d take long, glacial pauses after I posed every question.
“It was impossible to know whether we had a bad connection, she was annoyed by the question, or just agonising over every response, but it was deeply unnerving and killed any opportunity for any kind of easy, relaxed repartee.
“Elle may be known as the body, but I think I left mine several times during our painful encounter.”

Our insider explains: “The photographer was taking a group photo of all the celeb guests so I said, ‘Would you step this way, Ms Collins?’ took her arm and steered her towards the line of people. I hesitated just for a moment and she turned to me and snarled, ‘You mean you don’t know where to place me?’
“I froze, apologised and legged it because she was looking daggers.
“Next thing I knew, she had sidled right in between Tony Blair and Geri Halliwell.”
TREK TROUBLE
William Shatner shocked at a book promotion[/caption]
GLOBAL megastars can often be unfailingly polite and cheerful – it doesn’t take a genius to understand that loyal fans and positive press guarantee a long and lucrative career.
But our man wished Scotty would beam him up when he met Star Trek’s William Shatner to promote his book Boldly Go in 2022.
He recalled: “He took against me straight away because he didn’t like my nose ring.
“He got quite annoyed and ranted at me, ‘Are you in search of love, in search of the mysteries of the world, in search of why you got a pin in your nose?
“You sold your soul to the devil.
“The intricacies of the universe would knock your socks off or take that thing off your nose.’
“At least I think that’s what he said because the whole time he was talking he was also crunching away on slices of toast with blueberry jam and slurping tea.”
