A recent study by Go2Africa has ranked the world’s most overcrowded destinations, based on how many tourists visit compared to how many people reside in these places.
According to the Daily Mail, the data revealed that one tiny European country topped the list: Vatican City, which sees millions of tourists every year.
Despite having just 882 residents, the religious and historical epicentre welcomes an astonishing 6.8 million tourists annually, meaning there are 7 709 visitors for every local.
