THOMAS Skinner said he’s “determined to win” Strictly Come Dancing despite the recent backlash he’s received.
The controversial signing is hoping he can turn things around, just days after he confessed to cheating on his wife a few weeks after their wedding.

Thomas, 34, who is partnered with professional dancer Amy Dowden, is hoping he can dazzle on the dancefloor.
Just days ahead of the first live show on Saturday, Thomas said: I’m absolutely buzzing about Strictly.
“I’ve been working so hard with Amy and enjoying dancing more than I thought.
“l’ve fallen in love with the dancing and I have definitely improved.
“I’m looking forward to the live show and showing the public how hard I’ve been working. I’m feeling happy, positive and confident.”
Thomas has got plenty of reason to be excited lately as he’s also just released his first music track titled Bosh Drink Stella.
The Apprentice star has teamed up pal and frontman of 90s band The Sound’s Robert Hisee for the new World Cup anthem.
Robert shared the clip on his Instagram and he eyes up a No.1 spot in the charts.
Thomas has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons after admitting he cheated on wife Sinéad just weeks after their wedding in May 2022.
But the reality TV star insists his marriage is “stronger than ever” and was all about family values this week as Amy joined them for dinner.
Thomas, 34, proudly shared snaps of Amy cuddled up with Sinéad and their three kids Henry, five, and two-year-old twins Roma and Dalia on the sofa, before he and Amy practised their latest routine in the dining room
He declared he’s determined to make it far in the competition, saying: “I am not letting Amy down, I am gonna work so hard and can’t wait for you to all see my live dance this Saturday night.”
But despite the wholesome family scenes, Thomas’ time on Strictly has been dogged by controversy.
In an emotional interview last week, he admitted a “two week fling” just weeks after marrying Sinéad was a “moment of madness” that nearly “ruined his life.”
But the woman he was involved with has hit back, claiming the affair was far more serious than he let on.
Viewers have voiced their sympathy for Amy after she was partnered with Thomas amid his off-screen controversies.
But tough Amy, who has overcome breast cancer, has vowed to make a success of Thomas on the dancefloor.
A source said she was concentrating on achieving the best results she could with Thomas.
They added: “He can be outspoken but in training he’s really knuckled down and is giving the competition his all.”
