KELSEY Parker is struggling to help her children to navigate the grief they’re feeling surrounding the death of her most recent baby.
The media personality, 35, and her family have faced a number of tragedies, including the death of her partner and the children’s father, Tom Parker.
Kelsey lost her third child back in June[/caption]
She also lost her husband and the father of her two children, Tom Parker, back in 2022[/caption]
She shares two children with Tom[/caption]
Kelsey and The Wanted Star were together for 13 years before he passed away in 2022 from brain cancer.
He was 33 years old at the time of his death.
But Kelsey’s most recent family tragedy is the stillborn birth of her baby in June of this year that she would have shared with partner Will Lindsay, 28.
Their name was going to be Phoenix.
Kelsey has opened up about how she’s found it incredibly difficult to explain what has happened to Phoenix to the two children she shares with Tom: daughter Aurelia Rose Parker, 6, and their son Bodhi Tom Parker, 5.
She spoke on the Mum’s The Word podcast that she hosts with McFly star Danny Jone’s wife, Georgia, about the subject and how it has been especially hard to explain it to Aurelia who had been very excited about the pregnancy.
“Time has been really tough. Because Aurelia is six, I wasn’t giving her the right answer to what she wanted.
“I said, ‘Phoenix has died and Phoenix is with daddy now,’ the former dancer said.
But no answer seemed to be enough for Kelsey’s daughter who wants to keep talking about it.
Kelsey has found this to be both a good thing as well as a tough thing for the family to navigate.
“She [Aurelia] was relentless.
“I’d say to anyone you don’t need therapy when you’ve got Aurelia, because she is a therapist.
“She actually makes you talk about it, right?
“I knew that they [the children] needed to go through it and process it.
“If we all talk about it, then we’re going to get through this as a family.
“But now I have to say to Aurelia stop, because she goes on and on about death.”
Kelsey and Will’s relationship went public in September 2024 after she shared a loved-up holiday snap online.
Just a month later, she found out that she was pregnant.
