A SCHOOLGIRL has died after allegedly undergoing a secret boob job – with her devastated dad insisting medics are covering up the truth.
Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo, 14, passed away in hospital in Durango, Mexico, a week after the surgery.

Her death certificate stated the cause as cerebral oedema due to a respiratory illness.
But grieving father Carlos Arellano says breast implants were behind her tragic end.
He said: “Her death certificate falsely stated ‘illness’ as the cause of death in an attempt to cover up the truth.”
Carlos claims he only learned his daughter had undergone the procedure when he discovered scars and implants at her funeral.
“They gave it to us right away. I don’t know how they did it so quickly,” he said of the death certificate.
The heartbroken dad has now filed a complaint, insisting: “I demand that all those responsible be investigated.”
Authorities have since confirmed they are probing Paloma’s death.
The tragedy comes just days after a young mum died during a botched “birthday present” bum lift in Brazil.
Marilha Menezes Antunes, 28, suffered fatal internal bleeding during liposuction and fat grafting at a private Rio de Janeiro clinic.
Her family say she was healthy, had undergone all the proper tests, and had gifted herself the procedure as part of her birthday celebrations.
Sister Léa Carolina recalled: “I went up to the operating room and saw the doctor trying to resuscitate my sister. I asked what he needed, and he said oxygen.”
But while the clinic claimed Marilha had suffered cardiac arrest after bronchoaspiration, an autopsy revealed the real cause of death was hypovolemic shock – catastrophic blood loss from a punctured organ.
The devastated family are now demanding answers.

Léa said: “My sister was full of life. I took her to make a dream come true, and instead she met death.”
Marilha, an aviation safety technician, leaves behind a six-year-old son.
The AMACOR clinic insists its facility is properly equipped and said the medical team “acted immediately after detecting signs of haemodynamic instability during the procedure.”
Meanwhile, an Instagram influencer and mum tragically died during a “three-in-one” plastic surgery op as she received a fat injection into her bum.
Famous businesswoman Natália Cavanellas Thomazella, 40, went into cardiac arrest on the operating table – with her death being treated as “suspicious”.
Natália experienced complications as she underwent liposuction, buttock enhancement, and breast implant revision.
Her family said she was in good health and had no pre-existing conditions before her tragic death.
What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?
IT’S important to do your research if you’re thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.
It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.
Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.
No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.
If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.
Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.
Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.
