WATCH | Jaden Smith makes Paris Fashion Week debut as Christian Louboutin’s Men’s Creative Director

Jada Pinkett Smith and her children, Jaden and Willow, are in Paris for Jaden’s debut for Christian Louboutin as Men’s Creative Director.

Smith showcased his creative skills at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, which is on from 21-25 January.

According to Daily Mail, the Smith family came to show 27-year-old Jaden support, often being seen in their own fashion moment in the streets of Paris.

On one occasion, 56-year-old Pinkett Smith was spotted in a black leather puffer jacket over a black hoodie, paired with blue jeans, according to Hola! Online magazine.

Jaden Smith announced as Men’s Creative Director

Christian Louboutin announced Smith’s appointment as Men’s Creative Director four months ago, with an Asian-inspired clip highlighting the brand’s signature ‘red’.

Louboutin starts the clip by stirring red paint, and ends it by handing over a red paint-dipped brush to someone, before revealing Smith.

The caption read: Maison Christian Louboutin is pleased to welcome Jaden Smith as the first Men’s Creative Director.

“When I first met Jaden, I saw in him a natural fit for the Maison, his world is rich and multidimensional, his style and cultural sensibility are inspiring, and his curiosity and openness are remarkable.”

“I felt that with his creative direction, our men’s collection would evolve in an exciting and dynamic way. He feels like the perfect addition to our creative team, and I am truly looking forward to having fun working with him on our men’s collections,” said Christian Louboutin at the time.

Jaden Smith’s reaction after the appointment

At the time of the announcement, Smith showed excitement for the opportunity to collaborate with the French fashion icon.

“Merging my vision with Christian’s comes quite naturally because we see the world in a very similar way. There’s a shared respect for creative freedom, and I think that’s why it works. I want to continue the story, honouring the past while shaping the future through my own perspective,” said Smith at the time.

“It isn’t just a title — it’s a creative home. Christian has given me a place to explore, to learn, and to create freely. His legacy is built on hard work and joy, and I want to carry that forward,” Smith concluded.
