A video of Operation Dudula leader Zandile Dabula has gone viral on social media after she appeared visibly flustered during a live television interview.
Dabula struggled to answer a straightforward question about Frontline States, leaving both the presenter and viewers puzzled.
During the broadcast, the presenter asked Dabula to explain what Frontline States were.
However, her responses were repeatedly off-topic, prompting the host to rephrase the question three times before another guest finally stepped in to clarify.
Zimbabweans clap back at Zandile Dabula online
The moment, now widely shared on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, quickly turned into a source of amusement for many Zimbabwean users online, who flooded the comment sections with jokes and memes.
“Zimbabweans are the wrong people to embarrass yourself in front of, they’ll make you trend by lunchtime,” @shonaman33 posted.
Others poked fun at the irony, given Dabula’s past controversial comments about foreign nationals, particularly Zimbabweans.
“Now she’s the one who needs help understanding the basics,” one commenter wrote, while another added, “Maybe she should deport that confusion first.”
Mixed reactions from South Africans
Despite the trolling, some South Africans defended Dabula, saying the incident was being exaggerated online and that anyone could get nervous on live TV.
Still, the clip continues to circulate, adding yet another viral moment to Dabula’s increasingly contentious public profile.
